In the firm's role as Certified Public Accountants, The NCT Group undertakes audits of clients' financial statements in order to render an independent opinion for use in reports to government agencies, stockholders, trustees, credit grantors, and others. Auditing comprises approximately 40% of our total revenues and is an integral part of our practice.
NCT is experienced in a wide range of commercial, nonprofit and governmental audits. Our clients include counties, municipalities and other governmental units, nonprofit entities, and medical practices, as well as banks, building contractors, retailers, wholesalers, land developers, software companies, colleges, and manufacturers.
While the reports on financial statements are the primary purpose of an audit engagement, they are often only the beginning of a client's relationship with The NCT Group.
In the process of the engagement, members of the engagement team are often able to make suggestions on time and money saving procedures, organizational changes, tax planning and other areas that are of continuing value to the client.
